Salary: $19.00 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: 4983 cutoff road, Williams Lake, BC V2G 5H6
Shifts: Night, Shift
Work setting: Staff accommodation available and rural area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need any degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Fences
Equipment and machinery experience: Forage equipment and haying equipment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots
- The candidates should be familiar with hay farming
- The candidates should have experience in other miscellaneous crop farming
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should function well as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist with calving, fertilize, and spray crops
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, feed, and tend to animals
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties, maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings
- The candidates should be able to clean and lubricate machinery and equipment, as well as construct and repair wood or metal supports and structures
