Salary: $21.00 to $26.50 hourly (To be negotiated) 37.5 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: 3500 Fallow field Road Nepean, ON K2J 4A7
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Work setting: Physician’s office

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work, Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records

  • The candidates should be able to exercise good judgement in decision-making, be organized in their tasks, show reliability in completing assignments, work well as a team player, and uphold values and ethics

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to take vital signs, apply aseptic techniques, including sterile dressing, ensure infection control, monitor nutritional intake, and conduct specimen collection
  • The candidates should be able to provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • The candidates should be able to provide nursing services, within the defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
