Point Pleasant Lodge is a not-for-profit specialty hotel offering 100 guest rooms exclusively for individuals undertaking medical-related travel. The lodge provides clean, safe, and basic accommodations at reasonable rates, aiming to alleviate the financial burden associated with unplanned medical travel. Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety:Â Bondable, Basic Security Clearance, and Criminal Record Check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, and work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines, perform repetitive tasks, and meet physically demanding requirements
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

- The candidates should be punctual, client-focused, and dependable
- The candidates should be efficient in interpersonal skills, excellent in oral communication, and flexible

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock the linen closet
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, and handle and report lost and found items
- The candidates should be able to provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
