Location: Dartmouth, NS
Shifts: Day, 09:00 to 18:00
Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work accurately and focus on clients
The candidates should be able to show flexibility and stay organized
The candidates should be able to demonstrate reliability and work as a team player

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to supervise staff (apprentices, stage hands, design team, etc.) and assign sales workers to duties
The candidates should be able to hire and train or arrange for training of staff and authorize payments by cheque
The candidates should be able to order merchandise and authorize return of merchandise
The candidates should be able to establish work schedules and sell merchandise
The candidates should be able to prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
The candidates should be able to resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory and supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
The candidates should be able to manage cash and supervise office and volunteer staff
The candidates should be able to participate in retail buying, marketing and small business endeavors
