Salary: $19.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Shifts: Day, 09:00 to 18:00
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work accurately and focus on clients
- The candidates should be able to show flexibility and stay organized
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate reliability and work as a team player
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate dependability
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supervise staff (apprentices, stage hands, design team, etc.) and assign sales workers to duties
- The candidates should be able to hire and train or arrange for training of staff and authorize payments by cheque
- The candidates should be able to order merchandise and authorize return of merchandise
- The candidates should be able to establish work schedules and sell merchandise
- The candidates should be able to prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- The candidates should be able to resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory and supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- The candidates should be able to manage cash and supervise office and volunteer staff
- The candidates should be able to participate in retail buying, marketing and small business endeavors
