Salary: $19.50 to $21.35 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 48 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Green economy sector
Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools
Credentials: Working at heights training, First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to work at heights when necessary
• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be capable of handling heavy loads, able to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to determine layout and installation procedures accurately, considering project specifications and requirements, and measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations with precision and attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment safely and efficiently, following established protocols, and utilize hand and power tools effectively, ensuring proper use and maintenance
• The candidates should be able to erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms according to safety regulations and project needs, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, understanding project scope and requirements
• The candidates should be able to install, repair, and service interior or exterior prefabricated products with proficiency and accuracy
