Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently under pressure
  • The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their workday, and be capable of standing for extended periods as required
  • The candidates should be adept at walking as part of their duties and prepared for physically demanding tasks as part of the role

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities and exhibit flexibility in adapting to various situations and tasks

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules effectively and supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food proficiently
  • The candidates should be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures comprehensively, estimate and order ingredients and supplies accurately, and hire food service staff appropriately
  • The candidates should be able to ensure food service and quality control consistently, prepare budgets and cost estimates meticulously, and address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly
  • The candidates should be able to maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage systematically, prepare and submit reports accurately and in a timely manner, and prepare food order summaries for the chef efficiently
  • The candidates should have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres and supervise and check the assembly of trays effectively, as well as supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys promptly
