Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a High School Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of one year of recent experience in handling cash
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have previous experience working in a bookstore environment and previous experience in an IT product sales position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to process cash register and accounts receivable sales, ensuring accurate attribution of all merchandise sales to the correct retail department and payment method, including sponsored students, refunds, gift cards, department cards, cash, debit, cheque, credit, and one card
- The candidates should be able to assist learners in obtaining their course materials during the back-to-school period by identifying required resources based on course numbers and providing them efficiently
- The candidates should be able to provide exceptional customer service to learners throughout their service interaction
- The candidates should be able to gather merchandise to fulfill online orders received through the Campus Store website for shipping or pickup via Click & Collect or Curbside service
- The candidates should be able to process gathered orders using the point-of-sale cash register system accurately and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to welcome and thank customers upon entering and leaving the store, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- The candidates should be able to assist customers when security gates trigger an alarm by verifying purchases and deactivating any active security tags
- The candidates should be able to maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude to ensure success in the role
