Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have Graduation from a business college or Graduation from a one-year, post-secondary business related program
Experience: Candidates should have One year’s related cashier and customer service experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have knowledge of modern office equipment, practices, procedures, and systems
- The candidates should possess knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to make arithmetic calculations rapidly and accurately
- The candidates should have the ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- The candidates should be capable of dealing courteously, tactfully, and effectively with the public and civic employees
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to participate effectively as a team member and to adapt to changes in scheduling, procedures, and office equipment

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide general administrative support and able to receive and process payments for a variety of civic services and programs
- The candidates should be able to balance and deposit cash, cheques, and Interac payments
- The candidates should be able to maintain accurate daily records, including transaction data and batch totals, and enter them into the revenue collection system
- The candidates should be able to respond to a large number of inquiries from the public, redirecting them, as necessary, to other sections of the Department, other departments, other utility companies, and private parking companies
- The candidates should be able to monitor the supply of rolled coin, order new supply from the bank regularly, distribute coin, balance coin, and keep accurate records
- The candidates should be able to receive and process cheque cashing requests from other departments to replenish petty cash
- The candidates should be able to provide administrative support for the Corporate Revenue division, including sorting and distributing mail, filing documentation, and processing data
- The candidates should be able to monitor supplies and request orders in a timely manner
