Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Tagalog
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work in a non-smoking environment

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to change diapers, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assist with child supervision, and handle housekeeping duties, as well as care for pets
The candidates should be able to care for foster children, discipline children according to parental methods, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare infants and children for rest periods, and supervise and care for children
The candidates should be able to take children to and from school and appointments, tend to their emotional well-being, help with homework, and cook
The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety/handling skills, administer first aid in emergencies, and plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
