Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience in providing administrative or clerical support services, such as managing agendas, scheduling and organizing meetings/teleconferences, preparing and collating meeting file folders and background materials, procuring office equipment and supplies, maintaining a filing system, coordinating travel and/or logistics, monitoring/escalating/resolving problems when required, supporting clients, providing information, data entry, scanning, etc.

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate initiative, exhibit thoroughness in their work, demonstrate good judgment, be dependable, and should have a high level of integrity
  • The candidates should have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload
  • The candidates should have the ability to solve problems

Other Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS) Clerk:

  • The candidates should be able to review, maintain, and update data, identifying and addressing gaps, inconsistencies, and missing information in the Human Resources Management Information System
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice, explanation, and interpretation to clients in RCMP for the province of British Columbia in matters related to the completion of transfers and other transactions

Public Service Staffing Clerk:

  • The candidates should be able to review and process staffing actions such as acting appointments and casual contracts related to the Public Service
  • The candidates should be able to provide client support to clients via email, over the phone, and in person

Heath Services Admin Support:

  • The candidates should be able to work directly with doctors and nurses, providing service to RCMP Regular Members
  • The candidates should be able to join our team and provide information to assist in the health needs of our clients

Finance Administrative Clerk:

  • The candidates should be able to provide general administrative support for employees and management
  • The candidates should be able to serve as the contact for arranging training, travel, meetings, fleet vehicles, and building access
  • The candidates should be able to provide procurement and financial support, including ordering office supplies, generating JV’s and billing, and creating reports in SAP

Recruiting Clerk:

  • The candidates should be able to provide general administrative support for employees and management within the Recruiting unit
  • The candidates should be able to assist regular members in administering exams when required
  • The candidates should be able to travel within metro Vancouver to attend recruiting events such as college and community career fairs
  • The candidates should be able to provide general client services, including answering inquiries over the phone, email, and in person

PRU Support Clerk:

  • The candidates should be able to provide general administrative support for employees and management within the Professional Responsibility unit (PRU)
  • The candidates should be able to assist the Harassment team within PRU by creating and maintaining electronic/hardcopy files, reviewing/inputting data into the ACMT database and MS Excel spreadsheet, proofreading documents, and coordinating and scheduling/arranging meetings
  • The candidates should be able to provide external and internal client support via email, over the phone, and in person
