Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to prepare production and other reports, supervise workers and projects, and coordinate and schedule activities
The candidates should be able to oversee apprenticeship training, recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions
The candidates should be able to train or arrange for training, prepare bids, and manage their own company
The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials, operate CADD and other computer software systems, and set up equipment
The candidates should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed, recommend personnel actions, and establish methods to meet work schedules
The candidates should be able to read blueprints and drawings, requisition materials and supplies, and resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
