Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, etc., and schedule and confirm appointments
  • The candidates should record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, answer the telephone, relay calls and messages, and respond to electronic inquiries
  • The candidates should determine and establish office procedures and routines, compile data, statistics, and other information, and oversee the classification and rating of occupations
  • The candidates should order office supplies, maintain inventory, arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • The candidates should open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail, set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • The candidates should type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies, and manage contracts
  • The candidates should oversee the analysis of employee data and information, manage training and development strategies, and establish and implement policies and procedures
  • The candidates should assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs, organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures, and liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants
