Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of required company indoctrination, general and recurrent training
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 2 years experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically fit to lift up to 30 pounds repetitively, able to stand/walk for extended periods, and work in pressurized environments
  • The candidates should be Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, or able to provide proof of the right to work in Canada

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M2 rated License
  • The candidates should have type endorsements on B737-400/500/800 or ATR-42-300/320 aircraft
  • The candidates should have at least 6 months of experience within the last 24 months working on M1 and M2 aircraft, with a minimum of 3 months specifically on M2 aircraft
  • The candidates should be able to maintain a valid Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to conduct maintenance, repairs, and modifications to aircraft using approved tools, materials, and manuals
  • The candidates should be able to perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft systems
  • The candidates should be able to ensure strict adherence to the company’s safety standards throughout all maintenance activities
  • The candidates should be able to accurately document and record all work accomplished on aircraft and troubleshoot and rectify aircraft system defects effectively
  • The candidates should be able to verify that parts installed on aircraft are properly certified before installation
  • The candidates should be able to supervise apprentices, providing training and guidance to support their development towards becoming Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs)
  • The candidates should be able to understand and comply with all regulatory requirements, company policies, manuals, and documentation standards as per Airworthiness Certification Authority guidelines
  • The candidates should be able to complete log book entries, task cards, and non-routine cards (NRC) in accordance with established procedures and standards
