Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a valid Restricted Operator’s Certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience working with aircraft operated by the Company (B737-400/500/800 and ATR 42-300/320)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically fit (able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, able to stand or walk for extended periods of time, work in a pressurized environment)
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to effectively work individually and as part of a team
  • The candidates should be adept with the use of a wide variety of tools and test equipment wrenches, sockets and test equipment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to complete required training courses and attend programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • The candidates should have excellent written or oral communication skills with strong listening abilities
  • The candidates should possess excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
  • The candidates should required to maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • The candidates should required to maintain a valid Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit for ENWIA
  • The candidates should required to maintain Aeronautical and Holding a valid Basic Training from a Transport Canada Accredited Program
  • The candidates should be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or show proof of the right to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to accomplish aircraft maintenance tasks under direct supervision of an ACA, learning on the job
  • The candidates should be able to conduct maintenance, repairs, and modifications to aircraft using approved tools, materials, and manuals
  • The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and rectify aircraft system defects, ensuring operational integrity
  • The candidates should be able to adhere strictly to the Company’s safety standards throughout all maintenance activities
  • The candidates should be able to accurately document and record all work performed on aircraft
  • The candidates should be able to verify that parts installed on aircraft are properly certified before installation
  • The candidates should be able to maintain the Company’s hangar facilities, tooling, and equipment to industry standards
  • The candidates should be able to understand and comply with all regulatory requirements, Company policies, manuals, and documentation in accordance with Airworthiness Certification Authority
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with Stores to manage parts needed, used, and accounted for during maintenance operations
  • The candidates should be able to perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or ACA, contributing to the overall efficiency of the maintenance operations
