The candidates should meet the age requirement of 16 or older and possess a valid Security Guard License
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure store security by conducting daily patrols of the facility and validating that doors and showcases are secure and functioning properly
- The candidates should be able to make external arrests when necessary in accordance with company protocols and legal guidelines
- The candidates should be able to investigate instances of financial and physical shrink and communicate findings to Store Leadership, and to the Market Loss Prevention Manager in the case of internal matters
- The candidates should be able to support store evacuation procedures during fire or other emergency situations participate in store task team responsibilities
- The candidates should be able to conduct or support investigations involving internal theft, external organized retail crime, and cases assigned through Walmart Canada Global Ethics, in a timely and thorough manner consistent with corporate policies
- The candidates should be able to effectively communicate information from various sources and clarify issues for others, presenting multiple perspectives
- The candidates should be able to take on additional responsibilities as required to meet evolving company
