Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Work setting: Restaurant
Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need any degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Credentials: Serving It Right Certificate

• The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a strong focus on client needs and possess efficient interpersonal skills

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to organize and set up the bar and clean the bar area, including washing glassware
• The candidates should be able to serve food or snacks and supervise food and beverage servers and other staff
• The candidates should be able to inform customers regarding the contents of cocktails or other drinks and collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages
• The candidates should be able to operate the cash register and the video lottery terminal
• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
• The candidates should be able to prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages and take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
