Requirements:

Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ multi-unit retail management experience in food manufacturing
Physical Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to oversee all administrative paperwork, including orders, production, promotions, delivery schedules, pricing, and payroll for all facilities across Canada and provide direction and guidance to Food Center Managers, staff, drivers, and lead hands on performance, training, and positive discipline and ensure all employees are in compliance with corporate and provincial regulations
- The candidates should be able to ensure all Food Center facilities and equipment are maintained and in compliance, including all preventative maintenance and hold daily and monthly staff communication and learning meetings with the Canada-wide leadership teams
- The candidates should be able to implement new product lines and create strategies introduced by Category Managers and support the recruitment and onboarding process and train Food Center staff using the appropriate tools interview forms, reference checks, CP materials, and job aids
- The candidates should be able to follow HR practices and procedures for positive discipline, providing regular motivational and corrective feedback to employees and attend monthly business meetings with provincial HR Business Partners for support and maintain and monitor all required food handlers’ certifications, licenses for the business and ensure all team members are current and compliant
- The candidates should be able to attend weekly and monthly Category Manager’s and Market Communication meetings and liaise with field management to quickly solve concerns and issues related to supply and production and conduct monthly store visits for quality assurance purposes
- The candidates should be able to ensure food safety practices and all applicable requirements of HACCP and the SQF System are adopted and maintained, assuming ultimate responsibility for Canada
- The candidates should be able to complete monthly store QV and facility self-audits, develop and implement schedules and procedures for Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Emergency Response Maintenance programs, and safety inspections
- The candidates should be able to maintain safety and security of the facility, properly documenting incidents that occur and perform some heavy lifting as required periodically and support and verify monthly inventory counts and complete yearly Facility planning, including sales projections, budget, and cost management for Canada
- The candidates should be able to mentor, coach, and train all Supervisors to raise the level of accountability to staff for better efficiency and effectiveness and promote and enforce good hygiene and safe food handling through GMP Training
- The candidates should be able to provide direction, encouragement, and motivation to all production employees and demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and multi-tasking skills and coach, mentor, consult, manage, and influence change and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
