Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Credentials: Food Safety Certificate
Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check

- The candidates should have a strong client focus and demonstrate dependability in their role
- The candidates should show initiative in their tasks and be organized in their work approach
- The candidates should be a team player and possess effective time management skills.
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as plan menus, determine portion sizes, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- The candidates should be able to prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef
- The candidates should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and organize and manage buffets and banquets
- The candidates should be able to manage kitchen operations
