Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, walking and stand for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, kneeling

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be accurate, should have excellent oral communication, should be flexible
• The candidate should be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate a cash register and process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments and scan items
• The candidates should be able to tabulate total payment for goods or services required and receive payment for goods or services and calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
• The candidates should be able to stock shelves and clean counter area and greet customers
• The candidates should be able to wrap or place merchandise in bags and provide customer service
• The candidates should be able to monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary and participate in promotional activities
