Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in both air-conditioned and cold/refrigerated environments
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be prepared for repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, performing physically demanding work, and have attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, be comfortable with walking, and be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and be organized
- The candidates should exhibit reliability and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to obtain articles for customers from the shelf or stockroom, and direct customers to the location of articles sought
- The candidates should be able to unpack products received by the store, count, weigh, or sort items, and maintain computerized stock inventory
- The candidates should be able to record incoming stock, stock shelves and display areas, and keep stock clean and in order
- The candidates should be able to price items using stamps or stickers according to a price list, operate an electric pallet jack, and provide customer service
