Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of High school (Grade 12) graduation
Experience: Candidates should have over one year, up to two years of experience in the relevant field
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have completed an additional program of over one year and up to two years or equivalent in Business Studies and intermediate Excel skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide contract administrative support to the Parks Maintenance and Forestry Division and liaise with Parks Maintenance and Forestry staff and vendors on various contract administration matters
- The candidates should be able to attend and support meetings with vendors and monitor the PContracts email inbox and address administrative matters
- The candidates should be able to provide records management support, including file creation, maintenance, and retrieval according to corporate record standards and legislative regulations
- The candidates should be able to update City Works with vendors’ completed work and enter purchase requisitions into the corporate system
- The candidates should be able to verify all vendor inspection data and initials on the collaboration site and organizing seasonal meetings with vendors
- The candidates should be able to maintain the seasonal portable toilet distribution list and locations
- The candidates should be able to assist supervisors, forepersons, and the contract coordinator with vendor performance evaluations
- The candidates should be able to support and assist with contacting various utility companies, including Hydro One, Rogers Cable, and Region of Peel, to schedule stakeouts and confirm the locations of cables and wires, pipes
- The candidates should be able to coordinate with all Parks Maintenance and Forestry vendors to ensure valid WSIB certificates are filed in the Bids and Tenders System
- The candidates should be able to retrieve logs for litigation and and monitor the vendor collaboration site and maintain the pricing spreadsheet for all Parks vendors
