Salary: $16.55 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: St. Catharines, ON
Shifts: Day, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Dry cleaning and laundry establishment

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a hot and noisy environment, have attention to detail, and be comfortable in a fast-paced setting
• The candidates should demonstrate hand-eye coordination, be able to handle heavy loads, and manage a large workload
• The candidates should be physically fit to handle demanding tasks, familiar with performing repetitive tasks, and able to stand for extended periods, handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have good judgment
• The candidates should be a team player
• The candidates should possess effective time management skills

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met
• The candidates should be able to sort products by style, color, size, length, or other criteria
• The candidates should be able to clean and prepare surfaces, load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, and establish work priorities to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
