Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials:Â Child development assistant (ECE level 1) and emergency child care first aid and CPR
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Medical exam
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality and dependability
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and excellent written communication
- The candidates should have interpersonal awareness, good judgment, and reliability
- The candidates should be a team player who values ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention
- The candidates should be able to engage in storytelling to entertain and educate children appropriately
- The candidates should be able to support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children effectively
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records accurately
- The candidates should be able to engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts engagingly
- The candidates should be able to maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties skillfully
- The candidates should be able to prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods appropriately
- The candidates should be able to attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and problems of children collaboratively
