Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, providing opportunities for creativity through art, play, music, and physical activity
  • The candidates should lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and outings to local points of interest, as well as guide children in developing proper habits
  • The candidates should observe children for potential learning or behavioral problems, preparing reports, and have knowledge of the Day Nurseries Act and licensing regulations
  • The candidates should establish behavior guidelines, assess children’s abilities and needs, and discuss progress or problems with parents and staff
  • The candidates should attend staff meetings to discuss children’s progress and problems, establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
  • The candidates should plan and maintain an environment ensuring the health, security, and well-being of children
