Salary: $20.00 to $24.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 37.5 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Immunization records
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing space for their growth and development
- The candidates should be able to lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest to engage and stimulate their development, and guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits to foster independence and self-care skills
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records to track children’s progress and activities
