Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Child development assistant (ECE level 1), First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and work in physically demanding conditions
- The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed and have manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality and dependability
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit flexibility
- The candidates should demonstrate interpersonal awareness, judgment, and reliability
- The candidates should be team players and uphold values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- The candidates should assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- The candidates should assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and submitting written observations on children
- The candidates should encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
- The candidates should guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, prepare snacks, and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- The candidates should discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings, attend staff meetings, and establish collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
