Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, be physically demanding, and pay attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, work outdoors, and work in noisy environments
- The candidates should be non-smoking and be able to work in air-conditioned environments

- The candidates should be punctual, dependable, and have efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills, excellent written communication skills, and be flexible

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children, assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children, and order supplies and equipment
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity, and engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits, prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
- The candidates should be able to submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors, discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
- The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children and plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
