Shifts: 07:30 to 16:00
Transportation information: Own vehicle

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Tools
Credentials: Industrial Electrician Trade Certification

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
• The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours
• The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
• The candidates should be willing to for overtime
• The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be accurate, client focus, organized, flexible, and judgmental
• The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
• The candidates should be able to test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance, instruct apprentices
• The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
• The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
• The candidates should be able to maintain inventory of stored material, interpret electrical code specifications, conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
• The candidates should be able to troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
• The candidates should be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations, install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
