Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of completed Grade 10
Experience: Candidates should have experience performing cleaning duties in a healthcare environment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive movements throughout their shift
  • The candidates should be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 30 lbs of force

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess knowledge and experience in operating a computer, including Microsoft Office
  • The candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions
  • The candidates should have basic knowledge and experience in operating a computer and a smartphone
  • The candidates should be dependable and capable of working with minimal supervision and previous cleaning experience

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform a variety of tasks associated with intensive or specialized cleaning within a hospital or facility using industrial cleaning supplies and powered industrial equipment
  • The candidates should be able to operate industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • The candidates should be able to thoroughly wash ceilings and windows to maintain high cleanliness standards
  • The candidates should be able to handle and empty hazardous waste, following safety protocols to ensure proper disposal
  • The candidates should be able to provide training and orientation to Environmental staff, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles
