Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Commerce or other related field
Experience: Candidates should have experience providing in-depth financial analysis and advice on a variety of accounting and administrative operations, procedures and systems

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting and have experience supervising
  • The candidates should possess strong accounting skills and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to take a broad-based, strategic approach
  • The candidates should have effective interpersonal and communication skills and possess the ability to influence decision-making and best practices through building and maintaining collaborative relationships
  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple critical and time-sensitive deadlines
  • The candidates should have organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills and should be able to work independently and in a team
  • The candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and should exhibit self-motivation and adaptability to changing priorities

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to support the financial activities of branch program area(s) across the department
  • The candidates should be able to ensure effective management of accounts payable and receivable functions on behalf of the department
  • The candidates should be able to conduct audits of work assignments to ensure accurate completion within established timelines
  • The candidates should be able to generate a variety of financial reports to assist management in decision-making
  • The candidates should be able to provide assistance to the Manager of Finance as required
  • The candidates should be able to analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improving financial processes and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather financial information and address any discrepancies or issues
  • The candidates should be able to stay informed about relevant financial regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance in financial activities
  • The candidates should be able to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support departmental goals and objectives
