Salary: $17.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 4620 Lakelse Avenue Terrace, BC V8G 1R1
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and reliability

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures
  • The candidates should take, cancel, and change room reservations, provide information on hotel facilities and services, and offer details about points of interest in the area
  • The candidates should investigate and resolve complaints and claims, process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • The candidates should balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying
  • The candidates should answer the telephone, relay calls and messages, assist clients/guests with special needs, handle wake-up calls, and provide customer service
