Salary: $24.00 to $28.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 40 hours per week

Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Work setting: Various locations

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work
  • The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should show initiative
  • The candidates should be organized
  • The candidates should exhibit reliability

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • The candidates should be able to operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
  • The candidates should be able to empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • The candidates should be able to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • The candidates should be able to perform safety and security checks
  • The candidates should be able to show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
  • The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • The candidates should be able to perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • The candidates should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • The candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision
  • The candidates should be able to clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
