Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a university degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a relevant science-based degree
Experience: Candidates should have 5 years of experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong aptitude for developing relationships and influencing stakeholders
  • The candidates should be proficient with technology and be forward-thinking, creative, and bring innovative ideas

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should hold a CRSP designation and other relevant designations and extensive experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams
  • The candidates should have strong written, presentation, and communication skills and experience with safety management systems
  • The candidates should have strong knowledge and experience managing training, audit, and contractor safety programs
  • The candidates should have experience effectively managing projects from planning to implementation and evaluation

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead Rogers policy and program development, including design, content, communication plans, resources, and tools and manage Rogers contractor safety management program, leading enhancements and new requirements across the organization
  • The candidates should be able to lead Rogers audit program, including planning, communication, implementation, and reporting
  • The candidates should be able to effectively write communications, content for various platforms, data reports, and presentations with a focus on the audience, clear, concise, and quality messaging
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with the Learning Team to design and develop new training courses, learning forums, and content, as well as manage standardized training course offerings
  • The candidates should be able to ensure up-to-date knowledge and insight of regulatory requirements and ensure programs meet those requirements
  • The candidates should be able to effectively use information captured through data systems to provide meaningful reports on performance and recommendations for improvement to operations
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with the safety team and operations to identify programs and resources and develop programs that are innovative and technology-based
  • The candidates should be able to manage consultants in delivering high-quality services and products, and ensure the terms of the program
