Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a degree in commerce, finance, business administration or a related discipline
Experience: Candidates should have Five years of related experience in the Human Resources field, preferably in wage and salary administration or compensation

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be analytical in their work and enjoy putting together comprehensive data, understanding how it fits within an organization
  • The candidates should be individuals who enjoy tackling complex challenges that require innovative solutions, demonstrating a problem-solving mindset
  • The candidates should be creative and have a flair for coming up with ideas and putting them into practice
  • The candidates should be customer service-oriented and mindful regarding the service of their clients
  • The candidates should have a thorough knowledge of wage and salary administration, organization design, and analysis
  • The candidates should have three years of experience working within complex human resource information systems (SAP/SuccessFactors)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist clients with the revitalization of Job Descriptions throughout the Organization
  • The candidates should be able to conduct a comprehensive compensation analysis of all positions at the City of Saskatoon
  • The candidates should be able to evaluate and assign classification to jobs or evaluate and support the work of committees in establishing job compensation
  • The candidates should be able to work within multiple compensation structures in 8 different bargaining units
  • The candidates should be able to play a part in organizational planning and structure
