Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have High school, bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma
Experience: Candidates should have 1+ years of experience in security service, asset protection, audit, investigations, law enforcement, military, risk management, inventory control, and quality assurance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing to work in an industrial environment that requires walking up to 5 miles a day and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
- The candidates should demonstrate awareness and implementation of best practices related to the utilization of physical security systems, investigation techniques, effective oversight of contract security officers, and distribution center loss mitigation techniques
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including Excel and possess Workplace Violence and/or Business Continuity experience
- The candidates should have analytical experience in a performance-based, action, and results-oriented setting, demonstrating the ability to work independently with off-site supervision
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to engage with others at all levels, must have strong oral and written communication skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment
- The candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of leadership or management experience, experience with warehouse or distribution center services and have experience conducting internal or external interviews
- The candidates should hold professional credentials in Loss Prevention, such as Wicklander and Zulawski certification
- The candidates should have familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts desired and certification and have strong familiarity with databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, Access, Exception-Based Reporting
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to lead, conduct, and deliver results regarding investigations of Theft, Fraud, and Workplace Violence/Critical Incidents
- The candidates should be able to prepare prompt and complete reports relative to Workplace Violence, Theft, Fraud, Critical Incidents, and Process Improvement
- The candidates should be able to deliver results through policy guidance, education, and mitigation strategies to help meet business demands
- The candidates should serve as the department’s liaison and security/crisis management subject matter expert for site leadership, keeping them informed on key issues, strategies, and the department’s performance
- The candidates should be able to analyze data, conduct audits, and identify trends to create actionable plans to mitigate risk and maintain confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace
- The candidates should effectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes, initiatives, and develop strategies for alarm reduction and conduct system diagnostics for problematic devices by engaging and resolving issues with internal and external partners
- The candidates should accurately communicate verbally and in written form to a broad customer base, train and orient new Associates in LP culture and develop projects while continuously improving physical security, processes, standards, training, and policies for future growth
- The candidates should ensure internal controls per Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements related to data center access controls, inventory control, record-keeping and promote and execute security best practices
- The candidates should audit physical security infrastructure (i.e., intrusion detection, access control, cameras) and ensure the functionality of all systems
