Salary: $22.50 hourly for 30 to 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Brampton, ON
Shifts: Day, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client-focused, flexible, organized, and a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate the flow of information, interview patients to obtain case histories, and open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, complete insurance and other claim forms, and maintain filing system
  • The candidates should be able to order supplies and maintain inventory, determine and establish office procedures and routines, and perform data entry
  • The candidates should be able to enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, prepare spreadsheets and documents for review, and initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
  • The candidates should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
