Salary: $22.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Delta, BC
Shifts: Day, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks, manage handling heavy loads, and handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be capable of managing a large workload
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be flexible in adapting to various tasks and changes and be a team player, collaborating effectively with others
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products, and immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
- The candidates should be able to sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials, and grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas, load and unload vehicles, and polish metal products to a mirror finish
