Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience, or early childhood education and teaching
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 yearÂ
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Medical exam
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers, follow parents’ lead with toilet training, and sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, bathe, dress and feed infants and children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and supervise and care for children
- The candidates should be able to tend to the emotional well-being of children
