Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should be Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in at a post-secondary institution within Ontario, Canada
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate a strong ability to multi-task, plan, and prioritize workload
  • The candidates should be self-starters, able to work with limited supervision
  • The candidates should be results and detailed oriented, with a proactive mindset

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have software skills, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills and show a high level of initiative
  • The candidates should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal and have strong technical writing skills
  • The candidates should be process-focused, with the ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities and have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team environment
  • The candidates should possess intermediate knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Database Management (SharePoint))

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist with data gathering and reporting, including helping with analysis, project reporting (both internal and external) documents, and synthesizing information
  • The candidates should be able to monitor project schedules, costs, risks, issues, etc., and assist in project/project monitoring and able to assist in the development of project management tools, templates, and databases
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the preparation of internal strategic presentations and studies, including collecting, organizing, and analyzing information from a variety of sources, conducting research, preparing charts, graphs, and strategy presentations, and drafting and proofing documents
  • The candidates should be able to assist with other departmental projects as assigned and collect, compile, and manage data related to continuous improvement initiatives and analyze and interpret data to help identify areas for improvement and assess the impact of continuous improvement programs
  • The candidates should be able to assist with the creation of continuous improvement reports, including data visualization and analysis and support the implementation of continuous improvement programs and initiatives
  • The candidates should be able to assist with continuous improvement-related stakeholder engagement and conduct research on best practices and trends
  • The candidates should be able to assist in meeting preparation tasks, including taking minutes, reviewing with the organizer, publishing documents, and tracking action logs
  • The candidates should be able to assist in managing BIC correspondences (email) and other related tasks
