Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a Master’s degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from an accredited university program
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

- The candidates should be active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP)

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to work within teams to provide a range of standard-level psychology services to patients and their families, adhering to established standards, directives, and policies
- The candidates should be able to perform psychological screening, assessment, diagnosis, interventions, rehabilitation, prevention, and promotion, as well as deliver educational activities
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to plan and implement services aligned with best practices and ethical standards
- The candidates should be able to provide input to the interprofessional team on psychological factors, barriers, and dynamics influencing client treatment planning, participation, outcomes, and team functioning
- The candidates should be able to consult and collaborate with teams and community services to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- The candidates should be able to provide supervision to psychometrists, provisional psychologists, and master’s level psychology students
- The candidates should be able to contribute to program, policy, and procedure development and participate in formal research initiatives to support continuous improvement and evidence-based practices in the field
