Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services as per organizational needs and budget constraints, and assess the requirements of the establishment accurately, identifying areas where equipment, materials, or services are needed
  • The candidates should be able to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased, ensuring they meet the organization’s standards and requirements, and invite tenders from potential suppliers, evaluating proposals and selecting the most suitable options
  • The candidates should be able to consult with suppliers to negotiate terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards, and hire, train, and supervise staff involved in procurement activities, ensuring competency and adherence to policies and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to determine contract terms and conditions in collaboration with legal and management teams, ensuring clarity and compliance with regulations, and award contracts or recommend contract awards based on evaluation criteria and organizational guidelines
  • The candidates should be able to establish delivery schedules and monitor the progress of deliveries, ensuring timely receipt of goods and services, and contact clients and suppliers to resolve any problems or issues that may arise during procurement or delivery processes
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization, ensuring smooth functioning of procurement activities, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the procurement process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
