Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have current registration, or be eligible for registration, with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Experience: Candidates should have experience in a biologics, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or health-related environment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of working in a highly regulated environment
  • The candidates should be capable of providing coaching and post-training support and exhibit flexibility to adapt to different learners and situations
  • The candidates should be available to work on-site at our Centre and be prepared for a biweekly schedule of 60 hours, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours
  • The candidates should be open to a possible full-time requirement and be able to travel for the first 6-8 weeks for training

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a Certified Training Profession (CTP) or similar certificate, or have a minimum of 5 years of adult training experience and ISTP trainer certification or an equivalent qualification
  • The candidates should hold additional specific designations, licensure, or qualifications and demonstrate well-developed classroom delivery and facilitation skills
  • The candidates should have a solid understanding and application of adult learning principles
  • The candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills and be proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate training requirements and conduct periodic reviews of training status, GMP issues, and non-conformance reports, and recommend appropriate action to the Resource Manager, Supply Chain
  • The candidates should be able to assist with the implementation of new projects and processes
  • The candidates should be able to periodically perform procedures to maintain technical competency and efficiency in training requirements
  • The candidates should be able to perform work in accordance with the provisions of the Canadian Blood Services’ Corporate Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
