Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should hold current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of adult training experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of working in a highly regulated environment and adapt to different learners and situations with flexibility
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • The candidates should be able to commit to 60 hours biweekly, with Monday-Friday daytime hours
  • The candidates should be able to accommodate the possibility of full-time hours and travel for the first 6-8 weeks for training

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have possess Certified Training Profession (CTP) or a similar certificate and have ISTP trainer or equivalent certification and be hold additional specific designations, licensure, or qualifications
  • The candidates should be demonstrate experience in a biologics, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or health-related environment and be have well-developed classroom delivery and facilitation skills
  • The candidates should be able to understand and apply adult learning principles and provide coaching and post-training support
  • The candidates should be exhibit excellent customer service skills and demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills and be proficient with MS Office (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate training requirements and ensure timely and efficient completion of training for staff
  • The candidates should be able to conduct periodic reviews of training status, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) issues, non-conformance reports, and recommend appropriate actions to the Resource Manager, Supply Chain
  • The candidates should assist with the implementation of new projects and processes, ensuring smooth integration into existing operations
  • The candidates should periodically perform procedures to maintain technical competency and ensure efficiency in meeting training requirements
  • The candidates should perform work in accordance with Canadian Blood Services’ Corporate Health and Safety Policies and Procedures to ensure a safe working environment
