Salary: $25.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Surrey, BC

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces
• The candidates should be able to work in noisy and dusty conditions

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures
• The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, assemble tower cranes on site, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
• The candidates should be able to level earth to fine grade specifications, clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work
• The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
