Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be accustomed to a fast-paced work environment
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods during work
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections, balance cash, and record sales
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs and describe and advise on wine selection
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs and provide customer service
