Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist in customer service by collecting shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and the store perimeter, returning them to a safe storage location using Walmart-approved procedures, and completing necessary logs
- The candidates should be able to respond promptly to register requests, assist customers safely with carry-outs or carry-ins, and verify receipts for proof of purchase
- The candidates should be able to follow established guidelines for occasional restroom cleaning and maintenance, handle chemicals safely, follow proper disposal procedures, and complete inspection reports before using power equipment
- The candidates should be able to adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring compliance with hazardous communication protocols, lockout, tagout procedures, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines
- The candidates should be able to maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk accurately
- The candidates should be able to contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to promote workplace safety by wearing personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear and a reflective vest during cart collection for visibility
- The candidates should be able to complete safety sweeps as required to ensure a secure shopping environment
