Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of university degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experience: Candidates should have experience in contract management and project management

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to think strategically and a track record of taking action and achieving results

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience with Windows or Unix servers in a virtualized environment
  • The candidates should possess experience with MS Teams Voice, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
  • The candidates should demonstrate experience with Teams certified phones and SIP phones, including setup, integration, and support
  • The candidates should have considerable Tier 2 customer support experience and familiarity with service management standards such as ITIL
  • The candidates should have professional qualifications CNA, MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams, MS-720 Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer and a valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s licence
  • The candidates should demonstrate a strong client focus in their work approach and possess influencing skills to effectively work with others

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide senior technical expertise for a broad range of mission-critical corporate services, including enterprise application support across global locations and throughout the Yukon
  • The candidates should be able to ensure efficient client operations across government entities, enabling effective remote work capabilities
  • The candidates should be able to lead infrastructure improvement projects, contributing to the implementation and enhancement of essential systems
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with various departments to gather requirements for VoIP phone deployment and user provisioning
  • The candidates should be able to configure voice VLANs on network switches to optimize VoIP performance and ensure seamless operations
  • The candidates should be able to deploy VoIP phones, ensuring they are configured correctly and operational for users
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with third-party support teams to troubleshoot complex VoIP issues and ensure timely resolution
  • The candidates should be able to design and configure auto attendants and call queues to support business units’ communication
  • The candidates should be able to provide ongoing support and maintenance for VoIP systems, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • The candidates should be able to participate in regular meetings to prioritize tasks, review project progress, and maintain effective communication across the organization
