Salary: $16.95 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be accustomed to performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of safely handling heavy loads, including those weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to grade, hand harvest vegetables, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to perform weeding, fertilize and spray crops, and sort and pack fruits and vegetables
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
- The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality, prepare for the market, and perform general farm duties
- The candidates should be able to maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings, and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- The candidates should be able to load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly
