Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of coursework in bookkeeping and accounting
Experience: Candidates should have experience in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be motivated, enjoy multi-tasking, work well in a team environment, and be able to work within tight deadlines
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess excellent organizational and time management skills
  • The candidates should have effective written and verbal communication skills
  • The candidates should have experience preparing various financial reports and reconciliations
  • The candidates should have experience using various computerized financial systems
  • The candidates should have experience working with computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide financial and administrative services to the Finance and Information Management Branch and the department
  • The candidates should be able to responsible for preparing, processing, tracking, and reconciling financial transactions and financial systems, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial coding, and signing authorities
  • The candidates should be able to research, analyze, and compile financial information, providing guidance to department staff on financial processes
  • The candidates should be able to provide administrative support services to the branch and department, including front-end customer service, purchasing supplies, and overseeing facility management processes
