Position: Accounts payable clerk

Salary: $19.00 to $24.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Saskatoon, SK
Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Public transportation is available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating attention to detail in their work

  • The candidates should prioritize accuracy in their work and focus on meeting client needs
  • The candidates should maintain an organized approach to their work and be reliable in fulfilling their duties

Candidate Status:

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare journal entries and manage accounts payable
  • The candidates should be able to review behavior regarding deposits and withdrawals, overdraws, defaults, dishonored payments, and spending patterns
  • The candidates should be able to store, update, and retrieve financial data and perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • The candidates should be able to perform general office duties and address customers’ complaints or concerns
